I was coming off a Twilight high when many in discussion lists recommended this series. THANK YOU! I couldn't stop reading this book and the next 3 in the series.

Rating: - I Love Blackdagger Brotherhood series
I absolutley love this Series! It was more adult than Twilight and kept me wanting more! I love the graphics and how I feel in love with each Brother thru each book! I give it 5 stars!! I can not wait for book 9. Alot of love to J.R. Ward!
Rating: - Entire Series is exciting
I read the first novel thinking it would be a typical romance. As soon as I found a favorite character, the next book would pull me to another character. Equal amounts of Mystery and Romance and each book full of new surprises. Highly recommend!

with some of the reviews that says there is way too many sex scenes and that the first 50 to 100 pages were kind of hard to get into. If you can get past this then you will thoroughly enjoy this novel regarding the Black Dagger Brotherhood. Really, really bad. As others have said before me, the book was basically a complete failure in all aspects of writing. The plot was almost nonexistent. The "romance" of the book was based upon an extremely unlikely love-at-first-sight experience followed by smut. The characters were cheesy stereotypes, right down to their names (Wrath, Torhment, Zsadist...) The scenes that could have actually been interesting were breezed over.
