Laurie Raymond can't believe her luck. Her family is moving to the same Connecticut town that her old friend Gregg moved to a year ago! What could be more exciting than picking up their friendship where they left it off?
Once she's settled in her new home, however, Laurie discovers that nothing is the same. Gregg is one of the most popular boys in her new school, while Laurie is starting over.
